Secret Ingredient 3 was born out of a deep respect for tradition and the enduring legacy of two remarkable individuals—Concetta and Mario. As immigrants from Castronovo, a small town nestled in the heart of Sicily, Concetta and Mario have brought with them not only their hopes and dreams but also the rich culinary traditions of their homeland.
After arriving in the United States, they worked tirelessly to build a life for their family, always keeping the flavors of Sicily close to their hearts. The kitchen quickly became and continues to be the center of their home, a place where the aroma of freshly baked biscotti and the rich layers of tiramisù are always constants, reminding them of the land they left behind.
Inspired by the love and dedication of Concetta and Mario, this bakery was created to honor their legacy and share the authentic tastes of Sicily with the world. Every recipe we use is a testament to the craftsmanship and passion they instilled in us, blending the finest ingredients with the time-honored techniques passed down through generations.
The secret ingredient in any food is what makes it an experience. At Secret Ingredient 3, I have three special ingredients that are behind every recipe. Breaking from tradition, I can’t help but share two of the three: my son Michael and my son Marco. My two children give me immense pride and strength, and I love sharing a piece of that in every product.
